Max Cooper - 3D/AV Live Feeling Is Structure Tour + Rival Consoles - TESTBED, Leeds

3D/AV Live is Max Cooper's immersive audio-visual performance system, coming to Leeds for a special performance as part of the celebrated opening season of TESTBED.

Customised to the venue, with every show a unique experience, Max works together with architecture and space to deliver his unique blend of scientific and human stories that move off the screen to wrap the audience in sculptures of light and sound.

The show will present works from Max Cooper’s latest album, Feeling Is Structure, plus material spanning his celebrated catalogue, and new compositions that continue his exploration of the human experience through music.

Drawing on an extensive portfolio of conceptual album projects, this experience will be catered to a standing audience, moving you through classical to techno with his rich catalogue of genre spanning musical and visual content.

3D/AV tells the story of the foundations of our world, and our place in it, as a living feeling experience.

With special guest Rival Consoles bringing his immersive audio-visual performance to interact with the 3D/AV screen configuration. Moving from deep ambient passages through intricate electronics and his distinctive interpretation of techno, the performance unfolds as a continuous, long-form narrative.

An early signing to Erased Tapes, his extensive catalogue explores the emotional possibilities of electronic sound, with his latest album, Landscape from Memory, continuing an almost two-decade pursuit of increasingly immersive and expressive forms.

Mastery is a curator of live shows and listening experiences, exploring the psychology of creativity, the art of performance, and the science of sound. Making our Leeds debut with this spectacular showcase, we are honoured to create within the newly refurbished walls of TESTBED, our new home in the City.
